That’s kind of how I feel right now as I post my second entry. No one in the wine world knows I exist.
But that’s ok. I’m just going to keep on dancing……
When you know someone is watching, it’s pretty easy to get caught up in the game and play for the crowd. I plan not to do that. There is so much on the internet about increasing traffic, what words to use, search engine optimization..it’s mind boggling! A few weeks ago I never knew any of this existed.
I wanted to take another wine course at Niagara College and because of all this shit we’re in, no part-time courses were being offered. So what else do I want to learn? Well, I want to learn more about wine, the wineries and the restaurants in Beamsville and the surrounding area of the Niagara Escarpment so I’m thinking “wine not” take a blog and podcast course and showcase my lovely community (do you like that “wine not” pun?)
And even though places are shut down right now, I thought a major shout out might be a great idea to promote Beamsville.
So……..
As I learn more about this area I now call home, anyone who cares to listen can learn as well. And when life starts improving and we can all jump out of our bubble then maybe others will think local and come visit all the amazing wineries and restaurants that I’m talking about.
So………
I’m going to dance like no one is watching but maybe a few will show up and join me and maybe in the near future some of you will show up and drink with me.
Cheers!
