A Little About Myself
Although I’m the mother of 3 wonderful children, my husband and I decided the easiest way to become empty nesters was to tell the kids we were moving to Beamsville, Ontario. And if you were wondering, they are all over 18 so hopefully they can fend for themselves:) Next move was to find out what my future retirement career would be. I was a Flight Attendant for 35 years and covid had a way of shaking things up a bit for my career. After taking courses on Ontario Wine as well as passing WSET II and III at Brock University, I decided to take the retirement package at Air Canada and go back to school! After spending an amazing but difficult 2 years at Niagara College, I am now working at Niagara Custom Crush in production. In a way, this Blog is a continuation of my education, learning all I can about my new home and the wineries in the Niagara Region.
